"The Wounded Owl Ronin" LuFisto vs. Gail Kim, AIW Girls Night Out 17, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Cleveland, OH, April 30, 2016

No backstory here.   This was Gail's AIW in-ring wrestling debut (she'd previously made an appearance as a referee), the only match she'd ever have in AIW and the main event.  Mia Yim is the female commentator, in case you were wondering

forearm.  Then a Butterfly Suplex that sends Gail rolling out to the floor.   Gail walks around the ring and climbs up on the apron.  LuFisto walks over to the the ropes and Gail gives her a shoulder Referee Jake Clements checks on Gail and LuFisto walks over and kicks Gail in the head.   Then a kick to the midsection.  LuFisto brings Gail up and sets her against the guardrail and chops her as the main commentator notes that the referee is being very lenient letting them fight on the floor.  LuFisto gives Gail a forearm.  Gail throws a few chops and LuFisto gives her a big shot.   Gail tosses her hair and comes back with a chop.  LuFisto responds with some hard chops of her own.  Then a forearm and she smacks Gail's face against the apron.   Gail rolls back into the ring and LuFisto punches and kicks her way out of the hold but LuFisto kicks Gail's midsection.   LuFisto goes to work on Gail's leg.  Gail is down and LuFisto puts her knee against Gail's back and pulls back on Gail's arms.  Gail gets to her feet and elbows and knees her way out of the hold and runs off the ropes.  Gail tries for a huracanrana but misses and LuFisto goes back to the leglock.   Gail rolls and reverses the hold and tries for what looks like an STF but LuFisto makes it to the ropes.  Back up and LuFisto elbows Gail and goes for the Burning Hammer, her finisher, but Gail escapes.  Gail grabs this?" and smacks LuFisto's face against the apron.  Gail sets LuFisto against the guardrail and chops her.  Gail drags LuFisto around the ring area and sends her into another guardrail.  Then another face smack to the apron.  Then they both get up on the apron and Gail kicks LuFisto's leg.  Gail enters the ring as LuFisto is climbing up top.  Gail tries to meet LuFisto up there and LuFisto shoves her down.  Gail gets up and slams LuFisto off the top.  Gail charges in but LuFisto gets out of the way and Gail goes shoulder first into the ring post.  LuFisto lifts Gail and hits her with an Really good match here and it's too bad we never got a rematch.   Recommended and you can watch it here.
