Super Dragon vs. CM Punk, IWA Mid-South Battleground In Bloomington, National Guard Armory, Bloomington, IN, October 20, 2004
 

This was their second, and last, match against each other.   Dragon previously defeated Punk at PWG The Reason For The Season on July 10, 2004.
 

They circle each other a few times and tie up and Punk gets a rear waistlock.  Standing switch but Punk drops down to the mat while still in the hold.  Punk gets back to his feet and applies a Full Nelson.  Dragon escapes with an arm wringer.  Punk escapes, trips up Dragon and goes for the pin.   He gets 1.  Dragon gets up but Punk has him in a headlock.  Punk releases the hold and gets an arm wringer.  Dragon gets a wristlock and applies a hammerlock.  Dragon brings Punk down to the mat.  Dragon knees Punk in the back.  Dragon brings Punk back to his feet.  Punk snapmares Dragon and applies a chinlock.   Punk brings Dragon's shoulders down and goes for the pin and gets a 1 count.  Back up, Punk gets a front facelock.  He takes Dragon down and gets a 1 count.  Back to the front facelock.  Dragon trips up Punk and applies an ankle lock and works over Punk's leg.  Punk's shoulders are down and referee Bryce Remsburg counts to 2.   Punk kicks Dragon in the back repeatedly to escape the hold.   Dragon continues holding onto the leg.  Punk rolls to escape.   Back to their feet and they circle each other.  Punk gets a hammerlock.   Dragon counters with a drop toehold and grabs a side headlock.  Back to their feet and Punk counters the headlock with a belly to back suplex.  Punk covers and gets 2.  Dragon is in a sitting position and Punk dropkicks him to the back of the head.  It gets 2.  Back up, Punk gets an arm wringer into a hammerlock but Dragon powers Punk into the corner.  Bryce counts to five and has to force Dragon out of the corner, though Dragon gets in a shot to Punk's face first.  Dragon whips Punk off the ropes and hits a back elbow.  Dragon covers and gets 2.  Back up and Dragon chops Punk, sending Punk backwards into the corner.  Dragon chops Punk again.  Punk forces Dragon into the corner and chops him three times though Dragon goes to Punk's eyes.  Dragon hits a vertical suplex for 2.  Dragon applies a headscissors.   Punk rolls Dragon onto his stomach to escape the hold.  Punk ties up Dragon's legs and floats over into a front facelock.   Back up, and Punk gets a backslide for 2.  Back up, Dragon gets a front facelock and looks to be going for a suplex but Punk counters it with an inside cradle for 2.  They both get to their feet and Punk kicks Dragon in the midsection.  Punk gets a sunset flip for 2.  Back up, and Punk hits a back heel kick.  Both guys are down and Bryce starts the count.  They get to their feet and Punk chops Dragon, sending Dragon backwards into the corner.  Punk whips Dragon into the opposite corner and follows with a jumping knee to the chest.  Punk hooks Dragon's arms and hits the Welcome to Chicago, Motherfucker backbreaker.  It gets 2.  Dragon gets up and Punk gets a front facelock but Dragon trips him up, ties up the legs and hits the Curb Stomp.  It gets 2.  Dragon brings Punk up and chops him, sending Punk into the corner.   Dragon whips Punk across and follows with a running forearm strike.  Dragon hits a Tornado DDT for 2.  Dragon lifts Punk up for the Psycho Driver but Punk escapes.  Punk gets an arm wringer into a hammerlock into a front facelock.   Dragon knees Punk in the midsection.  Dragon runs off the ropes but Punk ducks whatever he was trying and hits a Hammerlock DDT into the Anaconda Vise for the tap out at 7:40!  ****
